A little bit more about Patti Mickey

Patti Gausemeier grew up in west Texas and began twirling in Midland, Texas.  She and her older sister spent many hours in the hot sun falling in love with the sport of baton twirling.

In Junior high her dad was transferred to Denver, Colorado where she met and took lessons from Mrs. Judy Strecker. In High school Patti and her sister Terri were Feature twirlers for Arvada West High school in Arvada, CO. and the sisters from Texas were quite a duet in those Colorado days.

After graduating High School, Patti became the Golden Girl (feature twirler) for Colorado State University where she was twirled for the Fighting Ram Band throughout her college days.  Patti met her husband of 37 years on the campus of CSU.

Patti and Jon are the proud parents of Chris, Justin and Kayli and grandparents of Jayce, Jude, Laney and Lundyn.
